Antonio Bastardo, Joakim Soria, Corey Hart, J.A. Happ, Sean Rodriguez, Joe Blanton and Angel Sanchez are the six pending free agents on their roster.

In 38 games, Ishikawa hit. 224 with one home run and eight RBIs in 38 games as a Pirate. Snider's second stint in Pittsburgh was short, as he hit .192 in 18 games after September. Guerra appeared in 10 games as a reliever. He went 2-0 with a 6.48 ERA.
