RMU Island Sports Center Evacuated Due To Bomb Threat

NEVILLE ISLAND (KDKA)- Robert Morris University officials just sent out a statement saying that the bomb threat is now over. It was deemed as a "hoax," and the RMU Island Sports Center is reopening at approximately 5:20 p.m.

The RMU Island Sports Center was evacuated today due to a bomb threat being called in. Robert Morris University officials sent out this alert to all of its students and faculty.

According to an alert sent by Robert Morris University officials, police are responding to the bomb threat by sweeping the building. Once they finish at the Island Sports Center, police will move to RMU's Moon Township campus for precaution.
