Pittsburgh Pirates Announce Dates For 2015 PirateFest

PITTSBURGH (KDKA)- The Pittsburgh Pirates have announced dates for 2015 PirateFest this Winter. The annual Pirates-themed fan-fest is open free to the public on Saturday and Sunday, December 12-13.

PirateFest will take place at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. Saturday's sessions is free and open to the general public from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sunday's festivities, that is reserved exclusively for Pirates' season ticket holders who chose a PiratesFest VIP experience as one of their 2015 membership experiences.

PirateFest will include family activities such as live programs, autograph sessions with current and former Pirates, prizes, games, youth baseball clinics, the Pirate Parrot and more.

Autograph sessions will be ticket and sold prior to the event. The proceeds will benefit Pirates Charities and local nonprofit organizations.

2015 will mark the 26th year of PirateFest.
