Video: Pittsburgh Zoo Leopard Plays With Girl, Her Toys

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Video of an interaction between a little girl and a leopard at the Pittsburgh Zoo is getting a lot of attention.

3-year-old Tila was carrying a pair of her favorite stuffed animals with her while visiting the zoo Thursday.

Her mother Tammy Moreno, of Irwin, tells KDKA the leopard spotted Tila near the glass and came up to her trying to get to her stuffed animals.

"The leopard spotted out my daughter with her favorite stuffed animals and he pounced his way down the hill," Moreno said.

In the video posted to Facebook, you can see the leopard putting its paws on the glass as Tia plays with the stuffed animals.

Moreno says the leopard played with Tia for more than 20 minutes and followed her wherever she went.

Moreno said a large crowd gathered to watch the interaction and that everyone was amazed.

"We come to the Pittsburgh zoo two times per year and never came across this interaction not even close. We are so happy we caught this on video, this will probably never happen again!" she said.
