Fayette County Man Accused Of Running Over Man Outside American Legion

FAIRCHANCE (KDKA)- A Fayette County man is facing charges for allegedly running over a man at an American Legion.

According to state police, 36-year-old Kevin Lake and 34-year-old Justin Allen got into a confrontation in the parking lot of the Fairchance American Legion early Saturday morning.

Police say Lake got into his car and accelerated towards the victim, striking him in the legs. The impact of the crash landed Allen on the hood of the car. He rolled off the hood and was run over by both front and rear wheels.

Lake allegedly drove away from the scene on North Morgantown Road.

Later Saturday night, state police say Lake got into a domestic situation with a woman at a home on Sheldon Avenue in Georges Township.

Police say Lake struck the woman in the face and then punched her in the face, causing her to lose consciousness.

Eventually, the victim drove Lake back tot he Fairchance American Legion so he could retrieve his car.

Lake was arrested for both incidents. He faces a long list of charges, including charges of simple assault and aggravated assault.
