Mother & Daughter Arrested For Barging Into Arnold Home

ARNOLD (KDKA)- A Westmoreland County mother and daughter are facing charges for allegedly barging into a home with a gun and a pair of brass knuckles.

Both the mother and daughter face charges for burglary after reportedly forcing their way into the victim's home. Police say this all stems from a lovers quarrel.

According to the police report, 53-year-old Cynthia Headen and her daughter, 24-year-old Sharena Headen, went inside a home in the 2100 block of Leishman Avenue around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, armed with weapons.

"It appeared that the mother and daughter forced their way into the home and the mother had a gun and the daughter had brass knuckles," said Arnold Police Chief Shannon Sartucci-Davis.

Police said Cynthia Headen had a license to carry the .357-caliber revolver. She reportedly told the people inside the home, "I'll fire and I don't care who gets it."

Police say the mother and daughter were in the home because Sharena Headen was trying to get to a woman with whom she had a previous relationship.

"It appears that the woman who lived at the address, the victim, and the actor, did have some type of relationship and just a few days prior to, they did have a domestic argument, possibly a physical confrontation," said Chief Sartucci-Davis.

There were three children inside the home at the time of the incident. They weren't injured.

Police had to force Sharena Headen into the police station and remove her steel-toe boots. She also faces charges of simple assault and resisting arrest.

Her mother faces charges of criminal conspiracy and making terroristic threats.

Cynthia and Sharena Headen have preliminary hearings scheduled for Thursday.

Cynthia Headen is out of jail, while her daughter remains at the Westmoreland County Jail.
