Free Care Fund Telethon Today On KDKA-TV News
PITTSBURGH (KDKA)- You can help provide children and their families with the funds to get great care at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
It's the 62nd annual Children's Hospital Free Care Fund Benefit Show.
Last year's show raised more than $2.1 million for the Free Care Fund.
That fund helps ensure that no child goes without the medical care they need, even if their family can't afford to pay their hospital bills.
Coverage of the Free Care Fund Benefit Show starts during our 4 p.m. news on KDKA-TV. It wraps up with a one-hour benefit show that starts at 7 p.m.
At the end of the hour, KDKA's Jon Burnett announced that Pittsburgh had raised $1,817,127.
