Two Men Arrested For South Side Slopes Home Invasion

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police have arrested two men in connection to a reported South Side Slopes home invasion that took place early Monday morning.

Tyler Booher, 20, of Arlington and Shawn Siciliano, 22, of Carrick are facing charges including robbery and criminal conspiracy.

Police responded to reports of a home invasion in the 2900-block of Harcum Way around 2:30 a.m. A man reportedly called 911 and said he had a gun to his head at the home.

Police say when officers arrived, the back door was open, and the victims were still inside. The four adults and two children in the home had not been harmed.

Officers then learned that two armed men had fled the scene. According to police, one of the men was wearing a mask, but the victims knew the other man. The victims were able to provide descriptions to the police.

Shortly before 3 a.m., police say officers saw two men matching the descriptions near the intersection of Cobdon and Clover Street. Officers detained the two men, and they were identified as the suspects in the home invasion.

Police say Siciliano had a 9-mm firearm, and he had a valid license to carry a firearm. Booher had a bag containing a digital scale, marijuana grinder and a glass pipe.
