Carrick Man Burns Feet Trying To Stomp Out Kitchen Fire

CARRICK (KDKA) - A man was injured while trying to put out a fire at a home in Carrick.

The fire broke out in the kitchen of a home on Cedricton Street just before 4 a.m

A neighbor said the man living there tried to stomp the fire out and suffered severe burns to his feet.

He was taken to the hospital.

Two kids living in the home were not injured.

Firefighters were able to put the fire out, though it damaged the upstairs of the home and the kitchen.
