Alleged Dealer Charged With "Drug Delivery Resulting In Death"

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - In November, the Allegheny District Attorney filed a new charged against an alleged drug dealer from Penn Hills. Christopher Bouris 44, is charged with drug delivery resulting in death.

Police say the case against him focuses on bags stamped with the words "killing time." The heroin inside was laced with fentanyl. The drugs proved deadly to Eric Oyler of Penn Hills.

Investigators say they reviewed text messages from Bouris to Oyler that indicated a drug sale was underway.

Bouris: good bro
Oyler: U wanna come out or want me to come in?
Bouris: U here
Oyler: At the light
Bouris: Near dumpster

Oyler died, and Bouris was eventually charged with drug delivery resulting in death.

The defendant's attorney says a number of legal questions are yet to be answered.
