Man Killed In Motorcycle Accident
WASHINGTON COUNTY (KDKA) -- A man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Washington County Saturday evening.
According to the Washington County coroner's office, 47-year-old David McCann of Washington, Pa., was on a motorcycle in the northbound lane of Route 18 in Burgettstown when he lost control, crossed into the southbound lane and was hit by a vehicle. The accident happened shortly before 6:30 p.m., and McCann was pronounced dead on the scene at 7:40 p.m.
The coroner's report says McCann was not wearing a helmet.
