Woman Steals Hundreds Of Dollars In Merchandise From Greensburg Macy's

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Police are hoping surveillance footage of a woman stealing from a Greensburg Macy's will lead to an arrest.

The video shows the woman walking in with a nearly flat backpack. She browses the items, goes to the dressing room, and then leaves with a very full-looking backpack.

Investigators say her mannerisms give away her criminal intentions.

"She almost touches every piece of merchandise in the store. The video is very clear and she's displaying signs indicative of some one who's going to commit a crime," said Trooper Stephen Limani.

Police say she was particular about which items to take, and only grabbed things that didn't have a security tag. She made off with nearly $300 in merchandise.

She is believed to have fled in a black Suzuki SX4.

Anyone with information on the woman in the video is asked to call police.
