Mason, Colter Lead Duquesne Past George Mason 86-75

FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) - Micah Mason scored 23 points to lead three Duquesne players in double figures Friday as the Dukes beat George Mason 86-75.

Mason added five assists and two steals for the Dukes (13-7, 3-4 Atlantic 10) in a game played one day earlier than scheduled amid concerns about a big East Coast snowstorm hitting this weekend.

Duquesne led by as many as 17 points in the first half but the Patriots rallied after intermission. Duquesne was clinging to a 54-50 lead with 10:25 when Mason scored a layup and Mar'Qywell Jackson's 3-pointer helped the Dukes slowly pull away. Mason's two free throws at 1:08 put Duquesne up 82-69.
