Cheswick Police Officer Accused Of Assaulting Husband With Car Keys
NORTH HUNTINGDON (KDKA) – A Cheswick Police officer is facing charges stemming from a domestic abuse incident over the weekend.
According to police, the incident happened around 11 p.m. Saturday in the area of Madison Avenue in North Huntingdon.
The victim told police that he was returning home with his wife and kids when his wife, officer Jessica Frame, took the keys out of the ignition and began to strike him in the face.
He was hit twice in the left eye and several times in the nose. Police observed redness and bruising on the man's face along with a bloody nose.
As a result, Frame has been charged with simple assault and harassment. She is now out on bond.
Frame has been a part-time Cheswick Police officer for nearly four years. The Cheswick Police Department has eight officers, several of them are part-time.
This is the second time Frame has been arrested for assaulting her husband in the past six months.

KDKA's Marty Griffin spoke with Cheswick Mayor Dan Carroll about Frame. He said, "Yes, she is one of our officers." He also said yes, "she is suspended."
KDKA asked him about her second arrest in six months. Carroll said, "I'm quite surprised." He went on to say, "We do believe in second chances. The first charges were dropped."
Sources confirm it is unlikely Frame will be used as a police officer in Cheswick again regardless of the outcome of the case.
Sources tell KDKA that standard operating procedure within the Cheswick Police Department states that any officer charged with a crime twice will be fired.
KDKA's Marty Griffin called the police chief for comment, but did not hear back from him.
