Fire Rips Through Homes In North Braddock

NORTH BRADDOCK (KDKA) -- Fire ripped through two homes late Thursday night in North Braddock.

Crews were called to the scene along the 500 block of Price Avenue around 10:30 p.m.

The fire started inside a vacant house and flames were shooting from the roof when crews arrived on scene.

The fire spread to the occupied home next door, catching the roof and siding on fire.

The vacant home was destroyed by the fire. The occupied home had major damage to the roof and siding.

No one was hurt. The American Red Cross is helping out one adult and four children forced out of the one home.

The fire marshal is looking into the cause of the fire.
