Police Officers Put Through Deadly Force Training

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) -- Host Mike Pintek and KDKA-AM Program Director Jim Graci got to participate in Pittsburgh Police deadly force training.

Friend of "The Mike Pintek Show" Judge Robert Dzvonick helped arrange the training with Officer John Lubawski, the range master of the Pittsburgh Police and Fire Training Academy.

The pair were put through numerous scenarios in the simulator where police and citizen lives were threatened. Scenarios ranged from domestic disputes to active shooter situations.

Officer Lubawski and Judge Dzvonick joined Mike in studio to discuss the events of the simulations and the training. They also took questions from listeners about when it is okay for officers to use deadly force.
