Police Searching For Shooter In Wilkins Twp.

WILKINS TWP. (KDKA) - Officers are searching for a gunman after a shooting in Wilkins Township.

Police say one person was shot Monday afternoon, in the 700 block of Penn Center Blvd. Allegheny County Police say a man shot another man after the two got into a fight.

The victim was taken to Forbes Hospital in critical condition, but is expected to survive.

People in Building 700 and 800 were told to stay in place, but after a search, police found so sign of the suspect and the building was cleared.

People inside recalled hearing gunshots.

"Like, 'pop, pop, pop' and I jumped up and open window blinds looked out and seen somebody running," said Rose, who lives in the building. "There was blood everywhere."

Residents were terrified by the violent scene.

"We went down steps whole puddle of blood there but thought it was paint. Then opened door there was more blood," said Archangel Madia.

Police are still looking for that suspect.  They say he is 26-year-old Tim Brown, the cousin of the victim in this case.

According to court records, Brown lives in in Wilkins Township in the apartment where shooting took place today.
