Man Accused Of Trying To Sexually Assault 2 Young Sisters In Penn Hills

PENN HILLS (KDKA) -- Penn Hills Police have filed charges against a man accused of trying to sexually assault his fiancé's two young daughters.

Police say the suspect, identified as Rowdy Louis who is originally from Haiti, is accused of attacking the 12- and 6-year-old girls and punching their teenage brother.

Police say they got to the scene before he was able to sexually assault the girls.

The incident happened just before 7 p.m. Monday at a home on Vincent Drive.

According to the criminal complaint, the girl's brother confronted Louis after coming home and being met by the 6-year-old girl who told him "Louis was going to hurt" the 12-year-old girl.

The criminal complaint reports Louis told the older girl to tell her brother to leave her bedroom "or he would kill her." The boy called his mother, and then found the two young girls had been forced into a closet.

"This adult male was standing over a 12-year-old girl. She had no clothes on from the waist up, and she's yelling and screaming," said Penn Hills Police Chief Howard Burton. "At this point, the adult male told the girl, 'Tell your brother to get out of here or I will kill you.' So she yelled at the brother, he backed out for a minute, he calls his mom right away."

Police say Louis once again threatened the girls and ordered the boy to leave, punching him in the face.

The criminal complaint says during a struggle to escape, Louis ended up locking himself in a bedroom with the 12-year-old girl, and that's where police found them when they arrived.

According to investigators, the girl was screaming for help and Louis was holding her arms down.

The criminal complaint says Louis struggled with officers, but they were able to put him into handcuffs and take him into custody. He is facing rape charges.

The Penn Hills Police Department is investigating the case.
