IKEA Recalling 2 Styles Of Ceiling Lamps That Could Fall

PITTSBURGH (KDKA)- IKEA is recalling two types of ceiling lamps that could fall and break.

So far, the company has received 224 reports of the retaining clips breaking, causing the glass shade to fall and shatter.

So far, 11 injuries have been tied to the falling glass shades.

The recall involves the Hyby lamp sold from October of 2012 to January of 2016 and the Lock ceiling lamp sold from November of 2002 to January of 2016.

IKEA is urging customers to return the lamps to a store for a full refund.
