Wilmerding Man Accused Of Rape Arrested In Georgia
WILMERDING (KDKA) - A Wilmerding man accused of raping a woman is now in police custody.
Lawrence Cook, 31, was apprehended by police in Georgia on Thursday.
Cook was wanted on charges of rape and other sexual offenses. He has been named as a person of interest in connection with several other rapes in the Wilmerding area.
Allegheny County Police worked with FBI and U.S. Marshals to track him down.
