Alleged Rape Victim Of Ambulance Worker Speaks Out

VERONA (KDKA) - The alleged victim of a sexual assault by a paramedic in an ambulance and her husband spoke out today while they waited for the preliminary hearing for the defendant.

"Hopefully Parker will be in jail for all the rest of his life, and I just don't want to see him anymore," the alleged victim said.

She's referring to 50 year old Parker Foster, a paramedic with Guardian Angel Ambulance service in Verona.

Police say because of a mental disability the woman was extremely vulnerable when Foster gave her his number and offered to take her to get ice cream.

Police say Foster groped the woman and forced her to perform a sex act on Jan. 25, then assaulted her when she returned to the ambulance service. She told him she'd never seen the inside of an ambulance before.

A co-worker says after a background check, nothing indicated Foster could be a risk. Her husband has little faith in such background checks.

"If you're going to do it one time, like I think I'll try this, you've done it before," he said. "And he's just sly and this time he ran out of rope."

Her husband wonders if there are more incidents that should be investigated.

"Who knows how many times two of these people hit called to a wreck or something and he tells a guy I'm going to stay back here with her..you drive. What might have he done to other people and they would never know."

No indication more incidents are at issue. Foster is only charged in connection with this case. Today's hearing was postponed at the request of the public defender. Next week it will be determined whether he will be held for trial.
