Pint-Sized 5-Year-Old Golfer Gets Hole-In-One

SOUTH PARK (KDKA) -- Jason Glowacki and his son, Austin, make their way to the 74-yard seventh hole at the Practice Golf Center in Jefferson Hills.

It's "lucky seven" for the 5-year-old from South Park. On Saturday, the pint-sized Phenom struck a hole-in-one.

"I didn't think he had the distance at first," his dad recalls. "And it just caught the very front edge of the green, two hops, and went in the cup. Pretty amazing."

For father and son, it was a magic moment.

"I yelled, and he right away, he jumped up and he looked at me, and he had tears in his eyes already, and he kind of ran, and that's why I hurried up and grabbed my phone out of my pocket. I started videotaping from there," says Glowacki.

A sand trap to the right of him, a pond to the left of him, and in between, a very small, fast green. Really, he had no choice but to put it right into the hole.

Glowacki says his son's career began with a set of toy clubs, at the age of 2.

"He was swinging unbelievable at the age of 2, and at 2 and a half, we bought him his first set of real clubs. And he kind of took off from there," Glowacki says.

As for Austin? He says he had it all the way.
