Beaver Falls Mail Carriers Recognized For 30 Years Without An Accident

BEAVER FALLS (KDKA) -- Three Beaver Falls men are being recognized for outstanding safety on the roads.

Paul Yarosz, Mark Tukalo and Carl Zahn have been inducted into the prestigious National Safety Council's "Million Mile Club" for achieving thirty or more years of accident-free driving on the job.

They will receive a special plaque in a ceremony among their coworkers.

Beaver Falls Postmaster Margo Perry said she is proud of the work the three men do.

"These are outstanding postal employees in every aspect considering this very demanding position," said Perry. "The Postal Service has always emphasized safe driving practices. Each member of this group is very conscientious and their leadership and accomplishments are a great example for every member of our workforce."

To qualify for the "Million Mile Club," a worker must have driven accident-free for either 30 years or a million miles.
