Sources: Pitt Offered Head Coach Job To Arizona's Sean Miller

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) –It does not appear as if Pitt is looking to take a long time to find a new men's basketball head coach.

According to KDKA-TV's Rich Walsh, Arizona head coach Sean Miller was offered the position, which he has now declined.

Walsh was told by sources, "Pitt is putting the full court press on Miller."

Money was not believed to be an issue, but Walsh was told Miller wanted to work out other details of the contract, including length and facility upgrades.

***UPDATE***

Miller tweeted a statement earlier today saying that he is not interested in the job.

The news comes less than a day after Jamie Dixon departed for Texas Christian University, his alma mater.
