27 Charged Following Meth Investigation In Clearfield Co.

CLEARFIELD CO. (KDKA) -- More than two dozen people have been charged following a methamphetamine investigation in Clearfield County.

The 27 people charged are accused of distributing or possessing illegal drugs. More arrests are expected.

The Office of Attorney General, Clearfield County Drug Task Force and other law enforcement partners worked together in the investigation. Agents focused on street-to-mid-level trafficking and the importation and distribution of large amounts of meth.

Investigators seized one pound of methamphetamine valued at approximately $90,736 and one and a half ounces of heroin valued at approximately $8,400. Additionally, more than $25,000 in cash was seized along with seven weapons and a car.
