Couple Killed In N.J. Crash While Returning From Easter Egg Hunt

READINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - Officials in New Jersey say a man driving under the influence caused a head-on crash that killed an elderly couple returning home with family from an Easter egg hunt.

Frank Cabezas faces death by auto and assault by auto charges stemming from Friday's crash in Readington Township. Bail was set at $250,000 for the 25-year-old. Charges were announced Saturday.

County prosecutors say Cabezas' SUV hit a car carrying three adults and two children.

Killed in the crash were 79-year-old Frank Corso and his 75-year-old wife, Audrey. They were in a car driven by their son, 43-year-old Greg Corso, who suffered minor injuries.

Greg Corso's 10-year-old daughter suffered a possible broken femur. His 5-year-old son was treated at a hospital for undisclosed injuries.

It wasn't known Saturday if Cabezas has retained an attorney.
