Police Investigating After Man Found Dead In Hampton

HAMPTON (KDKA) –Police are investigating after a man was found dead in Hampton Sunday night.

49-year-old Glenn Fisher of Mt. Lebanon was found dead at a home in the 2400 hundred block of Trotter Drive.

The medical examiner's office said the cause of Fisher's death was asphyxiation, due to manual strangulation.

How it happened, and who is responsible remains a mystery.

Sources tell KDKA this was not a case of a burglary or robbery. Rather, the victim apparently was acquainted the young couple who lived in the house he was visiting them, and there was some sort of a disturbance.

The couple had only recently moved into the neighborhood, from out of state, according to several neighbors who declined on-camera interviews.

They did say they did not hear commotion, or anything out of the ordinary Sunday evening.

Hampton township police and paramedics were called to the home just after 8 o'clock last night, that's when neighbors first became aware of a problem.
