Crawford County Jail Warden, Wife, Charged With Stealing More Than $130K

CRAWFORD COUNTY (KDKA) – The Crawford County jail warden and his wife have been charged with stealing more than $130,000.

According to the Meadville Tribune the couple is accused of stealing the money from the Crawford County fraternal organization.

Tim Lewis, 53, and Debra Lewis, 50, both of Meadville were arraigned in Titusville on the charges.

The paper reports the couple is accused of stealing $132,900 from the Moose Lodge in East Fairfield Township over more than a three-year period.

Tim Lewis was the lodge's administrator and Debra was the social quarters manager.

Pennsylvania State Police also say Tim Lewis rigged a game of chance to make him the grand prize winner.
