State Police Release Surveillance Photos Of Possible Rape Suspect

STEWART TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- State police in Fayette County say they are looking for a possible suspect in an alleged rape at Ohiopyle State Park.

Investigators released surveillance photos Thursday of the man they are looking to question.

According to police, a woman reported being raped at the park's Visitor's Center in Stewart Township.

Officers say it began at a Uniontown bar. The alleged victim was reportedly with a man at Caddyshack Bar & Grill for a while before they left together.

That woman was found at the park on Thursday morning, wrapped in a blanket.

"He needs to be arrested and put away," said Candy Daveler, owner of Caddyshack Bar & Grill. "If he did do this, and I can't say he did, I don't know what all the facts are, but if he did rape this woman he needs to be arrested and put away."

Police say the white man was wearing a baseball hat and appeared to have a mustache and a slight beard.

Police also released an image of a vehicle in hopes someone will recognize it. It's a dark-colored, two-door sedan.
