Man Arrested In Greene County After Threatening Woman, Fleeing Police

GREENE COUNTY (KDKA) -- An Indiana, Pa., man was arrested in Greene County after a domestic disturbance incident followed by a car chase Friday night.

According to state police, troopers were sent to a residence on Fairview Avenue in Franklin Township for a report of a domestic disturbance incident shortly before 9 p.m. Friday. The unidentified victim told police that 59-year-old Charles Cramer, Jr. was kicking at her front door. She also said he was intoxicated and that he had weapons in his car. Cramer reportedly asked the victim if she was "ready to die tonight," and when Cramer was told state police were responding, he said, "I have more bullets than they do."

Police say Cramer fled the scene in his car. He was spotted on SR-19 by a Waynesburg Borough Police officer, who attempted to pull Cramer over. Cramer continued to flee, and more units joined the chase. Cramer eventually pulled into the Ruff Creek Market gas pump area, where he was arrested.

State police recovered an AR-15 style rifle and two loaded magazines from Cramer's car.

Cramer was placed in Green County Jail on a $50,000 straight bond.

State police continue to investigate.
