Newsradio 1020 KDKA Editorial: Pennsylvania's Primary Election

Tuesday is Primary Day in Pennsylvania.

In addition to all the other races, Democratic and Republican voters will choose a presidential candidate.

Usually, by the time Pennsylvania voters get to weigh in we know who the respective nominees will be. Not this year.

Bernie Sanders trails Hillary Clinton but she still needs more delegates to clinch the Democratic nomination.

Donald Trump maintains a significant lead but Ted Cruz and John Kasich could still force a floor fight at the Republican National Convention.

In other words when Pennsylvanians go to the polls on Tuesday, there will still be options for the presidential nomination. It's not an opportunity that should be squandered.

Polls open Tuesday morning at 7. They don't close until 8 Tuesday night or after everyone in line casts their ballot.

That's thirteen hours to get to your polling place.

Do it. Or don't complain.
