10-Foot Tall Slot Machine Stuns At Meadows Casino

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- There are 3,100 slot machines at Meadows Casino, and one "Behemoth." There are three screens: one "Big Bang Theory" game and two "Buffalo Stampedes."

Slots director Michael Jankoviak says it took six people to put it together.

"It's almost 10 foot tall. It's got the largest in the industry. 85 inch high definition television monitor, Surround sound speakers," he said.

KDKA-TV reporter Dave Crawley is playing with the casino's money. His winnings, if any, go to the Washington County Food Bank.

Slots fan Liz Ehrenfeld has played every type of lot machine in the casino. Her verdict?

"I'll give it about a nine and a half out of ten. I'll give it a ten if I hit the jackpot," Ehrenfeld said.

Doreen Latona shays she played this game in Vegas.

"When I got off this machine, someone sat down and won 17 thousand," she said.

Two people are able to play each game, side by side. But is there ever a fight over who pushed the winning button?

"We have over 800 cameras," the slots director says. "So we don't miss anything."
