One Person Killed When Motorcycle & Vehicle Collide On Route 65

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A person was killed in a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle late Tuesday night on Route 65.

The crash happened in the northbound lanes near the West End Bridge just before midnight.

An off-duty officer came upon the crash and found a motorcyclist lying in the middle of the road.

The victim died at the scene.

The northbound lanes of Route 65 were shutdown for nearly four hours while crews investigated and cleared the scene.
