Showtime's 'All Access: Quest For The Stanley Cup' Debuts Tonight

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Pittsburgh Penguins have been on quite a ride during the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Fans have watched and cheered as the Penguins advanced to Eastern Conference Finals. Now, fans will be able to get an inside look at the team as they continue their quest for the Stanley Cup.

Showtime Sports' new series "ALL ACCESS: Quest For The Stanley Cup" debuts tonight at 9 p.m. An encore presentation will air on NHL Network at midnight. It will also be made available at 10 a.m. Saturday on NHL.com.

According to a press release, "Produced in conjunction with NHL Original Productions, the real-time, behind-the-scenes documentary series is the first of its kind to nationally televise the championship of a major North American sport as it unfolds."

The half-hour show will air weekly on Showtime and will continue through the conclusion of the Stanley Cup Finals.

For those who do not subscribe to Showtime, the series will be available on a variety of platforms.

"The series can also be seen on Showtime, the stand-alone streaming service available through Amazon, Apple, Google and Roku, as well as through Amazon Prime Video, Hulu and Sony PlayStation Vue," the press release said.

As for the Penguins, they will look to take a commanding 3-1 series lead against the Tampa Bay Lightning tonight.
