Excessive runoff from the heavy rainfall caused small creeks and streams to overflow their banks.

Drivers are being urged to use caution on the roads and don't drive through any that are flooded.

Around 9:40 p.m., emergency officials say the water was beginning to recede and roads were beginning to reopen.

Also, parts of Fayette County are also reportedly seeing some flooding.
