PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Two men died in a car crash on Route 65 early Saturday morning.

Two men were pronounced dead at the scene of the two-vehicle accident, which happened near Millerton Street around 5:30 a.m.

According to police, a man in a Volkswagen sedan was driving outbound on Route 65 when he crossed the center line and struck a Cadillac sedan travelling inbound. The Cadillac then caught on fire. Police say two good Samaritans put the fire out with a fire extinguisher and managed to pull the male driver and a female passenger from the car.
