Pittsburgh To Rename Murray Avenue To Matt Murray Avenue To Honor Penguins Goalie
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender has been exceptional during the 2016 Stanley Cup playoffs and now the city of Pittsburgh wants to honor him.
The city says it will rename Murray Avenue in Squirrel Hill to Matt Murray Avenue on Thursday.
The idea was generated from Bubba, of Star Pittsburgh's Bubba Show.

Mayor Bill Peduto and Pittsburgh Public Works Chief Operations Officer Guy Costa are also reportedly on board.
