Severe Weather Pushing Through Western Pennsylvania
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A line of severe weather was spotted moving through Western Pennsylvania Saturday.
A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for Armstrong County until 7 p.m.

Strong wind gusts from a complex of thunderstorms rushed through the Pittsburgh region early Saturday evening, knocking down some trees. There were reports of trees knocked down by high winds in Kittanning, Ligonier and Latrobe.
The National Weather Service received storm reports of a 50 mile per hour wind gust in Pittsburgh, trees down on Front River Road in Neville Township as well as 40 mile per hour wind gusts in Ross Township and trees down on McKnight Road.
McCandless Township also had trees down on Blue Avenue and 50 mile per hour wind gusts. West View reported a tree down on Cornell Avenue and a 50 mile per hour wind gust.
The risk of isolated strong storm cells will remain through late this evening with scattered thunderstorms possible overnight as a cold front passes. That will usher in dry, sunny, less humid and cooler air for Sunday with highs in the upper 70s.
