4 Arrested, 2 Sought In Burglaries Spanning 4 Counties

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Six men are facing a long list of charges in a string of burglaries across four counties.

According to the Tribune-Review, the men committed 19 burglaries or thefts from 2014 to 2015. They targeted laundromats, local bars, power substations and even school bus garages.

During their spree, the six men allegedly stole cash, bottles of liquor and $163,000 worth of copper ground wire from substations in Plum, Manor Township, Frazer Township and Lower Burrell.

As for the suspects, they range in age from 33 to 57.

Edward Klingensmith, 55, faces the most charges including, theft, trespassing and conspiracy. He remains in the Westmoreland County Prison.

The other five men have been identified as:

  • Aaron Kuhta, 33, of Cowanshannock
  • Raymond Parks, 57, of Indiana
  • James Watterson, 36
  • James Cousins, 50, of Kittannng
  • Raymond Nelson, 54, of New Kensington

Those five men are facing several counts each of theft, trespassing and receiving stolen property.

As of Friday morning, Cousins and Nelson are still on the run.
