Police: Oakmont Man Died Following Home Invasion, Shooting
OAKMONT (KDKA) -- Homicide detectives are investigating a death that occurred Sunday in Oakmont.
27-year-old Brandon Turowski of Oakmont was found in a house at 119 View Street shortly after 4 a.m.
County officials say he had been shot in the leg.
He was pronounced dead at 5:24 a.m.at Forbes Regional Medical Center in Monroeville.
Initial information indicates that two white men broke into the home. At least one intruder went upstairs where there was a confrontation that resulted in Turowski being shot.
