Police: Road Rage Or Racing May Have Led To Double-Fatality

JEFFERSON HILLS, Pa. (KDKA) - Police are saying that a crash that killed two people earlier this week on Route 51 may not have just been a simple crash, and they think another car was involved.

Police say there are several witnesses who say a second car was near the wreckage out on Route 51. They're trying to figure out if the two vehicles were racing or if this could have been a case of road rage.

Justin Busko's car was apparently speeding down Route 51 when it went out of control, flipped over and struck a curb and a jersey barrier. His friends find it hard to believe that he would have been racing while on the way to work.

"I don't see Justin drag racing there," Jason Krahe, a friend of Busko's, said. "Like I said, he was probably on his way to work. Work was everything to him. So he wouldn't have done anything to jeopardize that."

Justin Busko of Baldwin was 30 years old. He owned a landscaping company. He and 19-year-old Eric Husey of Monongahela were on their way to work when the crash happened. Hussey loved dirt bikes, and he enjoyed fishing. Now, police want to find a dark-colored sedan that may have been involved in the deadly crash.

"I just want someone to come forward," Krahe said. "Man up. Say, 'Hey, I was next to him. I might have touched him.' I don't know."

A GoFundMe page has been set up for Eric Hussey's funeral expenses. As of late Wednesday, it raised about $6,300 toward a $10,000 goal.

In the meantime, Busko's fraternity brothers from Slippery Rock University set up a GoFundMe page to raise just $5,000, and they've been overwhelmed. Late Wednesday, they raised more than $27,000 for Justin's family.

"It just goes to show how many people actually really cared," Krahe said. "How many lives he touched. We never, ever, ever expected it to get this high."

Anyone with information on the gray or dark-colored sedan that may have been involved in the crash or any other information regarding the crash is urged to call Allegheny County Police.
