State Police: Argument Leads To Fatal Shooting In Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE (KDKA) -- Police in Fayette County are investigating after a man was fatally shot during an argument overnight.

The shooting happened just before 1 a.m. Tuesday in the Snowden Terrace housing complex in Brownsville.

According to a State Police sergeant, the incident began as an argument between six to eight people. The suspect, who has not been identified, pulled out a gun and started shooting in the air. Multiple shots were fired, and people ran as the gunfire rang out.

Police say the victim was shot in a grassy area, between two of the buildings in the complex. He is identified as 28-year-old Taekwon Commodore of Republic, Pennsylvania.

Officials say his friends took him to the Brownsville Police Department. Paramedics then took him from there to a hospital in Uniontown where he was pronounced dead.
