Police Searching For West End Bank Robbery Suspect

WEST END (KDKA) -- Police are searching for a man in connection to a bank robbery that happened Friday afternoon at a bank in the West End.

The robbery took place at the First Niagara Bank on Wabash Street around 1:15 p.m.

Police say a man entered the bank and gave a teller a note demanding money. He left the bank with an undetermined amount of cash. According to police, no weapon was seen.

At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black shirt with possibly a white dog on the front and a baseball hat. Police describe the suspect as "either a black male with a light complexion or a white male with a dark complexion."
