Judge: Sharing Netflix Password Could Be Federal Crime
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Sharing your Netflix password could be a federal crime.
A California court upheld the conviction of a man who left his job, but still used the password of someone working there to access the company database.
A dissenting judge said the ruling could make those who share their Netflix passwords unwitting federal criminals.
The CEO of Netflix recently said he doesn't mind when people share passwords because it creates a bigger audience.
