Josh Bell: 'I've Come A Long Way'
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) -- Pirates prospect Josh Bell joined Chris Mack on the The Fan Saturday, and said he's worked hard at learning first base.
"I've come a long way in the last two years, feel better than ever now, so I'm just waiting for that opportunity," Bell said.
Bell admitted that he's had to adjust when balls are hit to his right.
"It's just knowing how much range I have over there and really solidifying that defensively to be ready for the next level," he said.
When asked by Mack about making his big league debut against the Cubs and hitting a grand slam in his second career at bat, Bell said, "It's one of those things where I can tell my grandkids about one day and always look back on it with fond memories."
