Pirates Place Tyler Glasnow On Disabled List
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Pittsburgh Pirates placed pitcher Tyler Glasnow on the disabled list Sunday after he left Saturday afternoon's game early.
Glasnow was recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis early Saturday and started that afternoon's game against the Philadelphia Phillies. During his home debut, he hit two batters before leaving in the fourth inning with shoulder discomfort.
The Pirates announced Sunday that Glasnow was placed on the 15-day disabled list with right shoulder discomfort.

Right-handed pitcher A.J. Schugel, who was optioned to Indianapolis to make room for Glasnow, has been recalled.
Despite Glasnow's early exit, the Pirates rallied to beat the Phillies, 7-4, on Saturday.
