Three Injured In Mt. Washington Shooting

MT. WASHINGTON (KDKA) -- A shooting in Mt. Washington early Sunday morning left three people injured.

Officers were sent to the 400-block of Norton Street just before 4:30 a.m. for reports of shots fired.

Police say a group of people were arguing on the corner of Norton Street and Sandwich Way when a man approached them and fired several shots. A 43-year-old man and a 24-year-old man were both shot, and a bullet grazed a 27-year-old woman.

According to police, the 24-year-old man was shot in the hip and was last reported to be in stable condition at Mercy. The 43-year-old man was shot in the stomach and was treated and released from Mercy. The 27-year-old woman was transported to Allegheny General Hospital and was last reported to be in stable condition.
