#BlackLivesMatter Written On Police Officer's McDonalds Order

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A local McDonalds is investigating after an O'Hara Township police officer found #BlackLivesMatter written on her order.

O'Hara Township police say the officer ordered from the Waterworks shopping plaza restaurant around 5:30 a.m. Monday morning.

Upon returning to the station, the officer noticed the message #BlackLivesMatter written on her McDonald's bag.

The officer returned to the restaurant, returned the food and did receive a refund.

A female employee allegedly admitted to writing the message on the bag.

Mike Delligatti from M&J Management talked with the restaurant owner and they released the following statement:

We are looking into this matter and will take all appropriate steps to ensure high standards of customer service. All customers, including local law enforcement officers who protect and serve our communities, are welcome in our restaurant.
