Does Any Presidential Candidate Have A Plan For Social Security?

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) - Do any of our presidential candidates have a real plan to save Social Security?

With the state of the recovering economy and with fewer jobs offering pension plans, the workers of today and tomorrow will have a need for Social Security.

On Sunday, Chris Moore spoke with a presidential candidate who is running on the platform of, "saving Social Security."

Ray Uhric was a registered candidate for president before Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump and he told Moore his interesting idea for Social Security.

"Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy both put debt-free money in the national money supply and they did it based on the constitution," said Uhric. "My proposal is to have congress [do exactly what] Kennedy and Lincoln did."

Moore asked Uhric if his plan will raise inflation if congress starts issuing money towards the national money supply.

"It shouldn't. Whenever we had the big crash in 2008, the federal reserve and central banks all over the world pumped trillions of dollars into the global market in order to maintain an adequate money supply because what we had was a global banking collapse and that's why there was no money available for the various economies around the world to operate," Uhric said.
