Ramon Foster: Le'Veon Bell Needs To Be All-In

LATROBE (93-7 The Fan) – Steelers offensive lineman Ramon Foster sat down with "The Fan Morning Show" on Friday , which is broadcasting live from training camp, with the first workouts of the 2016 season just hours away.

Of course, Le'Veon Bell's suspension was the hottest topic during the interview. Foster is uniquely positioned to comment on it as one of the team's most outspoken leaders, as well as their NFLPA representative.

"It's behind us," Foster said. "He did his thing yesterday with the media and everything, and now it's just (a training) camp mindset...everybody's just so excited now. We're just ready to go to work."

According to Foster, word of Bell's situation originally spread around team circles back in the spring.

"We'd already heard about this a little bit," Foster said. "We'll see what happens. I'm not sure exactly what's going to happen. I thought certain things, but now it's other things, so it's just wait-and-see for us too."

Foster said that Bell's actions won't affect his teammates' perception of him too much as long as it doesn't cost them a chance at glory.

"Our job is to make sure that he gets to the line of scrimmage and does his thing with his talents," Foster said. "Whatever happens with this suspension, whether it's four (games), whether it's two, whether it's none, he knows he has to come in and be all the way correct with us."

"It can't be any backsliding. It can't be any type of little thing. It's got to be all in, because of the talent that we have this year. It'd be a shame if he's not in the playoffs, or he's not with us period."
